The Department of Psychology at The American University in Cairo welcomes applications for a fixed term contract in behavioral neuroscience (broadly defined) to begin Fall 2026. We are searching for a PhD-level professor who is passionate about teaching and mentoring students, and who has a track record of research. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to biopsychology and behavioral neuroscience, and have the opportunity to design new specialized courses in topics of interest. We are looking for someone who will promote and strengthen the new undergraduate minor in behavioral neuroscience, which is co-administered with the biology department.
