The 2026 Shared Reality Virtual Conference assembles a unique collection of researchers with a thematic focus on the social nature of reality construction. This year’s speakers will cover topics ranging from synchrony in conversation to belief change in peer groups and meaning-making in close relationships:

ATTENDANCE: Attendance is completely free. In addition to attending talks and participating in Q&A sessions, conference registrants will have the opportunity to socialize in themed break-out rooms over mealtime.
REGISTRATION: You can register here to attend. Registration will allow us to share the Zoom link and schedule with you closer to the date. We encourage you to register even if you can only attend for part of the day.
BLITZ SUBMISSIONS: We also encourage graduate students, postdocs, and early career researchers (PhD +5 years) to submit an application to present during the Early Career Data Blitzes held on both days of the conference! Blitz talks will be around 4-5 minutes each. The abstract submission deadline is February 20, 11:59 PM ET. Applications can be submitted through the registration portal. You can expect to hear back from us by Mar 2.
