University of Oregon, Clinical Psychology: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor

Position Announcement The University of Oregon’s Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track open rank position in Clinical Psychology (assistant, associate, or full professor) to begin in fall 2021 (start date negotiable). We are seeking a candidate whose research program focuses on one or more of the following topics: 1) racial, ethnic, and/or socioeconomic factors in mental health, 2) social determinants of health and wellbeing, 3) cultural adaptations of interventions, and/or 4) health and mental health disparities in racial and ethnic minorities, or multicultural contexts. We also seek candidates with experience and interest in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in culture and mental health. We especially welcome applications from scholars who are from populations historically underrepresented in the academy, and/or who have experience working with diverse populations. Particular attention will be paid to candidates’ descriptions of their contributions to diversity and inclusivity in research, teaching, and service.
Current areas of emphasis within the Clinical Psychology program include biological, psychological, and sociocultural mechanisms of mental health in children and adults; prevention and treatment of psychopathology; and community-based interventions. We are especially interested in candidates with a translational program of research that has direct application to clinical practice, training, or public policy and who welcome interdisciplinary collaboration within our Department and the University.
