Postdoc/Visiting Scientist Position The Cognition, Brain, and Autism Laboratory (www.cbra.ua.edu<www.cbra.ua.edu>) in the Department of Psychology at the University of Alabama invites applications for a postdoctoral position. The position has a flexible start date and could begin immediately. The Post-Doc/Visiting Scientist will work on research projects involving clinical, neuropsychological tests that are part of a multimodal neuroimaging project in children and adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The successful applicant will be responsible for aspects of study coordination and team oversight. They will also will be actively involved in study design, neuropsychological assessment of participants, diagnostic testing, data collection involving neuropsychological tests, and data analysis, and writing up manuscripts and publishing.
Qualifications: Ph.D. or other terminal degree in a field of research represented within the College. Desirable qualifications: PhD in Clinical psychology and/or experience in clinical testing and neuropsychological assessment in neurodevelopmental disorders. Prior research experience in the field of neuropsychiatric disorders, autism spectrum disorders, or general clinical psychology experience preferred.
