The Social Decision Neuroscience Lab (www.sdn-lab.org) led by Dr. Patricia Lockwood at the University of Birmingham, UK, is recruiting a full-time Research Assistant/Lab manager for a 1 year position, with possibility of extension, from October/November 2022.
We are looking for applicants interested in computational approaches to decision-making, learning and social cognition. We use a variety of methods including behavioural experiments, brain imaging and developmental and ageing studies from adolescence to old age. The lab is based at the Centre for Human Brain Health with access in the same building to MRI, MEG and OPM facilities. We are also part of the Institute for Mental Health and the Centre for Developmental Science. Birmingham is a leafy, vibrant and affordable city with fast links to the rest of the UK, an international airport 20 minutes from the centre, and many fun things to do!
