Professor BJ Casey is seeking one to two postdoctoral fellows to join her at Barnard College-Columbia University in New York City at the Fundamentals of the Adolescent Brain (FAB) Lab. Research interests include situational and social influences on self control, changes in basic cognitive and affective control with development, especially during the extended period of adolescence, and their implication for the treatment of young people in law and policy. The lab has collaborations with the broader Columbia University community including the Zuckerman Institute. This individual will have opportunities to publish independent and collaborative work using both original and public access data and to mentor and teach undergraduates.
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in the field of psychology, neuroscience, computer or data science, physics, or physiology with brain imaging experience or computational/analytic skills and proficiency in python, R, and/or MatLab.
