Post-doctoral fellowship – Developmental Neuroscience

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in Developmental Neuroscience. This is a CAPES-PrInt Fellowship within the scope of the project Theory and applications towards optimal human development.The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Prof. Ana Osorio at Mackenzie Presbyterian University – São Paulo, Brazil.
The postdoctoral fellow is expected to contribute to research on the neural processing of social emotional stimuli in infants. The successful candidate is expected to oversee the collection of fNIRS and observational data in infants and their families; conduct advanced statistical and modeling analyses; and prepare manuscripts (in English).
Candidates should have completed their PhD in an area related to the study and have published work as first author in indexed English language journals. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are also expected from the selected candidate. Candidates with expertise in fNIRS or other neuroimaging techniques, programming skills (R, Matlab, Python), expertise in neuroimaging data analysis and/or experience in working with infants and families are particularly encouraged to apply.
