The Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (SCAN) Lab at Columbia University (Lab Director: Kevin Ochsner) invites applications for a full-time lab manager/research assistant. Starting date is flexible but ideally would be May/June 2022. This position would provide an opportunity to be involved in various projects that concern the interplay of emotion, self-control and social cognition. Responsibilities will include coordinating and conducting neuroimaging and behavioral experiments, processing and analyzing data, and general administrative roles, including planning lab meetings and events.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, cognitive science, engineering, or a related field.
